R/Tistique

Amsterdam-based R/Tistique came to electronic music through piano — started at seven, which shows — and the phrasing sense that implies has carried into his club work. His catalog sits between progressive house and melodic techno, with the better records building through patient arrangement rather than leaning on easy uplift. Synergy and Sacrifice on Sync Forward placed him in the label's more mature, textured space; the ODDR remix of Sacrifice showed what happens when you give a strong track to someone who understands it. Active across multiple European imprints.
