Sync Forward returns to present "Vertex", a heavy-sounding EP by LA-based producer Adellacosta, featuring remixes from Alexskyspirit and ODDR. The opening track 'Vertex' is an epic, hypnotic, driving techno composition, with menacing percussion and almost experimental stylishness that drives your imagination under a rumbling groove. Next, we have a track entitled "Apex", influenced by current big-room techno, the organic production style reveals a rolling, dirty groove filled with flowing and rippling synths making it clear their musical chemistry is unique. The remix of "Vertex" by Alexskyspirit delivers a driving pumping track with a synth that re-writes the original one, giving it a special edge and adding an element of mystery. Closing the release is "Apex" remix by ODDR. Superbly executed, it's a fantastically low-end track that features dark and melodic tones, with the breakdown involving dreamy synths and provocative percussion.
