Hailing from Toronto, Canada, we have Civil Servant, making his debut on the label with a glorious melodic EP entitled "In Your Heart". The opening track, which bears the same name as the EP - "In Your Heart" - is a masterfully crafted composition with a strong synth and prominent vocal track that culminates in a dreamy breakdown, getting all the right ingredients to create a pure dance-floor bomb. The second track, "No Reason", is another brilliantly executed melodic masterpiece with a powerful vocal work and sharp, rolling arpeggios, making it one of our favorites at the headquarters. Closing up the release is "Too Far", a remarkably ingenious profound song with its musical synths and whispering vocal track, featuring ominous textures and intense driving pulsating bass, in another solid release for Sync Forward.
